Jamie Fox has 28 years of experience as a state-licensed speech-language pathologist helping people improve their communication skills, and she holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Jamie earned a BA in Linguistics from Rice University and an MA in Communication Sciences & Disorders from The University of Georgia. She has extensive experience with dementia, aphasia, dysarthria, and other adult neurogenic disorders as well as with pediatric speech & language disorders.
Jamie is also a certified trainer for the Compton Pronouncing English as a Second Language program and has been a college instructor for medical professionals striving to improve their workplace communication in English. Her own study of several foreign languages has given her an appreciation for the challenges of learning a “native” accent.
